As it states on his website, do call ahead to ensure he is there and will be there when you come. He is almost always there and is sometimes there at times that aren't listed but does occasionally need to make a airport run or other activity that pulls him out of the shop.

how long does it take for his clowns to SEE an anemone in the tank? my other clowns never went down to the bottom to check out the 2 nice anemone's that i had for them

As of lately Rods has been more of a place to make food than a store.
Dont get me wrong I stil go there whenever I need any thing its always worth the ride
just dont expect some thing spectacular

I just bought ROD's food tonight from Coral Reef Aquarium in Norridge. My fish love it. My Blonde Naso has been a lowsy eater but as he is eating thing stuff good.

Coral Reef people gave me a discount on other food but not on Rod's Food. They said that Rod doesn't allow to discount his food. and if Rod finds out then he pulls his product out of that store.

That's exactly right! Coral Reef does offer the CMAS discount though, on most other stuff.

mada a trip to rods today. wow its a ride from wheeling and it was really worth it meeting a guy with great knowledge of the hobbie. Will make the trip again when i need another set of clowns his clowns are the best ive seen by far and it was well worth the drive. Thanks Rod for the great looking clowns.

how are they different than other clowns?

I have some clowns and now I feel like selling them and getting some from Rod, after hearing from ya'll.

They are more black then orange and they are just beautiful compared to regular clowns. If i could get rid of my occelaris clowns and get another pair of rods i would. But im gunna let me pair grow them get another pair. Look under the clownfish forum and search rods and u can see how they are different.
