Hey Joe, I might be down for a road trip and you would be on the way. Probably some time after the 15th.

Is Rods reef larger than reef plus ? Does he have a better selection of fish and supplies then reef plus?

Actually, the food is better than awesome. Feeds fish and corals at the same time. Enriched. Highly recommended.

That works for me. Also you can look for the intersection of Perry Rd and 23 |

Keep in mind its a house and not a store front... the shop is in a shop/garage behind his house, so just walk along side his house out back....
I drove up and down the street street several times before I found it myself. PS. Reef Plus sells his food too. |

What is Rod's food called? I saw food in red packing at Coral Reef called "Rod's Food". Is it the same thing? What is a fair price to pay for it?

The food is called Rod's Food. Looks like you found it. It is usually around $18-$20 for the larger package. I am not sure about the Nano packs.

excuse my ignorance, do you take the entire package and mix it in a container and refrigirate it? or take little pieces out of the package everyday? Mix it with water?
I am used to using the frozen cubes of life line and Mysis shrimps.

You break off a piece the size you want to feed and thaw it. Then feed that much. You keep the rest frozen.

I just break a piece off and throw it in tank frozen.

I thaw in SW mixed with DT's phytoplankton & spot-feed everything.

i hold a frozen chunk in front of powerhead and rub it between my fingers

Call me an idiot, but when you thaw that food it becomes very small rather than picking chunky pieces of Mysis shrimp, life line or sea weed. Is it okay that the food becomes so small?
