Disappointing Delima. I need help.

Well, one of the many groups that I am involved with is having a few issues with disrespect (and others) lately. It's gotten so bad that I'm thinking about leaving it. It's something that I don't really want to do, but I don't want the bad image that it has been leaving behind to roll off an me and other innocent bystandards. With all due respect (and I have lots of it for this man), the man in charge is doing a great job from the group's physical side, but due to other issues, he isn't active in the group's online forum. And that is where the bulk of the issues are coming from. For the most part, the group itself is having growing pains. Good ones most of the time. But there is something that is lacking. I guess it boils down to whether or not if I should stay or go. Should I grit my teeth, bare with it, do what I can, and then run for the lead and try to change things since I'm more active? or should I throw my hands in the air, let things fall apart, and be glad that I got out before it drug me down with it?

I'd say if you care that much, and you seem to, that staying and gritting your teeth until you can do some about it sounds like a plan to me. What would be the harm in staying until then? Other than the extra cost for Tums

Who knew Pepsi could burn?

Oh and as for the original poster, if the group is worth saving and you think you can be the difference...then lead the group

Beerguy is like a mean teacher with a red marker just waiting to draw a big, bold red circle around your mistakes.

If the group means a lot to you, I say step up to the plate and see what you can do to improve it.

Besides, beeing in power is fun. Just ask BrinaD.

Poukie called you BrinaD. I thought that was your mother's name.

In all seriousness, that means I need to endeavor through a little under eight months until I can run for the office. But, like I said, our current leader is doing a great job in the meetings, conducting them, planning them, and attempting to get the group involved as a whole. I think the bulk of the problem lies in the members themselves and not the leadership. Hopefully, if I get to take the reins, I might be able to rally everyone. It's difficult though, because a lot of good ideas are being tossed around, and no one is acting on them.
