Couple pics of my tank

So, I finally figured out how to post better quality pics from photo bucket and found some time to take pics. They aren't great cause I'm still learning.
Enjoy!
Jeff

Thanks everyone. The imperator angel is great. Doesn't bother the corals and actually took care of my aptasia problem.

Its a 120. Thanks Golan. Good colors just not a lot of PE. Better than a month or so ago, but not like yours.

tell us a bit about your tank, parameter, flow, light, maintenance...I like the mix reef on your tank. Nice.

im no scientist...but i think since you have so much more light (400w) over a 20" high tank the polyps dont need to overextend to "grab" the light...where in my tank which is 24" high and 250w...the polyps need to over extend to grab the lights.

just a theory...but it kinda makes sense to me...

Yes that is a damsel. I liked the color and he was cheap. The extra light could be why I don't get pe, but who knows.

Tank: 120 gal with a dsb

Lighting: 2 x 400w 15K on the sides, 1 x 250w 10K middle, 2 x 40w actinic bulbs and 2 led moon lights

Flow: 2 x mag 9 return pumps, 2 seios, 1 maxijet and 2 koralia 1 on wave timer

Other: geo calcium reactor, asm skimmer(?), AC jr, chiller

Chemistry: Nitrates 0, Calcium 420, Alk 10, Mg 1320, temp 79.5 - 80.5

I used to do water changes about once every 6 months. Now after talking to Golan and hoping to increase my PE I'm doing about 10% every week. I've also recently started to add and monitor my mg level and that is really making a difference with the pe and the growth rate. I also run carbon in the sump and change it every month or so. I find the less I put my hand in the tank the better everything does.

Forgot, the camera was my wifes cannon eos digital. Photography is a whole new world I've started to look into. I love some of the pics people come up with.

Thanks again for the compliments. Justin, any time.
The lense was just the standard lense that come with the camera. I used a tripod for most of the pics, but still took like 50 pics just to get one good one. Don't really understand the camera, but found out that auto mode doesn't take good tank pics.
