Best Skimmer for my situation

I have a small tank 29 gallons. I need a really good skimmer for a decent price? I am looking for one that will get rid of a lot of waste from my predators. I would like one that hangs off the back. I know that limits me. I really need a good one can anyone lend me their expertise?

Have you seen the Red Sea Prism? I use one on my pillar tank(15 gal) in the sump(15 gal). They are kinda touchy as far as getting dialed in , and I have to tweek it every day, but for the money......I can't beat it! Welcome to Reef Central. TinMan

Get a ps75 from aquatraders and hot it. It will be perfect for your tank and at 29.99 you can't go wrong.

current has a nano skimmer. Very small. I don't know anything about them, other than what I've read on line. I had a 15 gl bow front at work and I used a prism skimmer on it. The thing worked pretty well. Now its just gathering dust (sitting in a box in the basement).

An AquaC remora works great for a 29 gallon. You can often pick one up used in the selling forum.

No offense, but I wouldn't take any more advice from whoever told you that... the "seaclown" is a notoriously awful skimmer. Prizms don't have a good reputation either.

Deltec makes a nice hangon. Beyond that, the Remora is tried and true for small tanks. The octopus is pretty decent and I've heard good things about the typhoon.

Whichever hangon you get, the surface skimmer box is a must IMO.

At a 1 in front of your 29 gallon and you can have those fish. If not....I feel sorry for the fish as they will live short lives.

you really need a larger tank for those fish. if you really like predators forget the skimmer and look for a much larger tank, check out your local used equipment threads you can get some great deals there!
