Banggai Daddy let babies out - Pics

Here are a few pics for those following this thread.

First one is of the parents. This was taken on day 21 and shows the mom and dad. The dad is in the background.

The second one was taken this morning. The father let the batch go sometime last night. I have found and caught 7 babies so far. I'm really hoping to catch more if I can find them. Try to find the little guy in the picture! These little guys are sooo small!

Its about an 1.75 inches from the bottom of the pic and 2.75 inches from the right side of the picture's edge. You can just see the bangaii's caudal fin and dorsal fin. He is pretty much transparent. Look along the star polyps and the sand edge.

Jellytheory---Nah not really. I never raised any Bangaiis. I never really gave it a try. They sure are cool looking fish, especially the babies. They are so cute.

It looks like you suceeded in getting a pair(s). How long have you had these guys? It looks like they are in your reef tank.

I live in Chino right off of the 60 & 71. You're more than welcome to stop by sometime.

Not sure if you remember, I had spoken to you about a year ago trying to find some captive raised banggais and you referred me to David M.

Do you mean from the left side of the pic? I am only seeing green star polyps on the right side.

Freed--

Yes you are right,

and 2.75 inches from the right side of the picture's edge.
Duhh

I guess I was in a rush. It is from the left side of the pic towards the right. Basically its the bottom left quarter of the pic along the star polyp edge. You can just see a white Dorsal fin that is in the vertical position.

I got home from work last night to find a huge Turbo Snail (we call him "Monstro") had decided to crawl onto the breeders net that was holding the Banggai babies. His weighed enough to tilt the side of it over enough to submerge it. The Banggai were out and about. Here is a picture of three of them that decide to find a home in a real RBTA that has a GSM hosting in it.

Here is one more pic. The baby banggais are a little out of focus, but the GSM is in this picture too.
