Here's my 30g tank. I have about 20lbs or LR and about 10lbs or rubble worked into the display. I used Handifoam for the background and put actual pieces of LR rubble in it to add a reefwall affect.

i love that handifoam background. you should describe more how you did that. you couldn't do that to an existing tank, could you?

Thanks. I used latex gloves and made sure to push and smudge the foam as it dried to make a more rugged rock look, than the smooth turds you would get otherwise, lol. you would have to completely drain your tank and dry any glass plane you intended on having the foam stick to, so you probably wouldn't want to do it on an already established tank. It takes 24 hours to cure completely I think.

How long do you have foam in the tank?
I had seen thread with question of longevity of the foam, before disintegration. How yours is doing?
