you can see my thread a few down and see my blues. I have never met Tubb's or Crockett for that matter, but I have some blue's that retain color under any light. good luck with your new polyps

i am not impressed at all withmy tubs...i just moved them to the very bottom of my tank..hopefully they will do something...i have a really nice set of blues that are way more blue then my tubs..and if i put them under high light they turn turquoise..which is just as nice...

Yeah i've heard that diff blues do diff things as far as color. What would be a good tru blue to get that would hold good color. I've only ever seen blues but have heard of super metallic blues and I know even others are out there. I'm just wondering if tubs would be the way to go or should i go ater something else? Any suggestions

for the most part Tubs are beautiful and very blue...but i think you have to keep them in low light..the high light mine were under seemed to turn them purple...

when i bought them i was told they would get a bright yellow ring around them if put in high light...no yellow ring for me...just purple polyps with white mouths..

my experince with blue zoos tells me to keep them in low light...

Tubs are a great high light blue.Mine stay blue 12 inches under halides. There are slot of people calling there blues Tubs but if they turn gray or another color under high light then there not Tubs IMO

My favorite blues are the last pic......and as far as the low light thing mentioned.....nope. they get a little bit lighter blue with less light, at least ime. these in the first pic are 15" away from 10k XM's. the skirts DO fade though

OK, I'll play, here are my Tubb's Blues:

...which were almost totally gone, before I started treating with Vitamin C (I hope I'm not getting too irritating about this subject but I just can't say enough!).
