crocea new to my tank - keeps tipping over?
Hi,
I added my first clam two days ago - a crocea clam. I positioned it on a small flat rock and put it on the sand. It tipped over the first day and i figured it was a crab or a snail. So...I put a clear plastic around him to segregate him. I woke up this morning and he is tipped over on its side again! am i doing something wrong? gooliver |

put it in a small rock and most likely it will attach (mine was attached after about an hour)

I went through the exact same thing with my crocea for about two weeks. It wasn't until I put him up high in the rockwork that he was happy and finally attached.

i checked today and he has a thin string attached to the rock - is that all that is supposed to attach? or is it his entire "foot" that is supposed to attach?

It probably has a bit more than just that string. Mine took a week or so to stop tipping over and attach permanently.
