Question How long does it take for clams to attach to the rocks

I got a T.crocea and a H.hippo. clam yesterday and both of them still havent attaced to the substrate. How long did it take for yours to attach to your rocks?

Bill

You might want to place the Tridacna crocea up in the rock work or place a small flat rock under the clam in the substrate so he will have something to grab onto. Most likely the H. hippopus will not attach as the byssal is not exposed like the other species.
