There's lots of threads on this device. It's two magnets taped onto a tube. It doesn't do anything useful.

We discussed it many times when it first came out. It cannot function in the way described. Few if any users (yes, there were some since they gave it away free for a while for "testing" IIRC) reported useful results.

Here's a long thread that blasts away it it, and is participated in by many of the most respected Reef Central scientists.
