36" L Tank
Hey,
The area that i want to put a new tank in will take a 36" long tank, i have the option of going: 36x20x22 36x20x24 etc... give or take an inch or two.. any benifits to a deeper tank? wider? anyone have a tank this size with pictures? suggestions? I was thinking of going with t5's 4 or 6 bulbs. Thanks!! |

I have a 46 gallon tank that's 36X20X22 if i'm not mistaken...and for me it's just the right size. It' not too deep that i can't reach the bottom, but it's not too shallow so that i can't have a good aquascaping...here are some pics!

A 50g breeder would be perfect for you, and considered by many to be one of the best sized tanks.
36 x 18 x 18 are the demensions I think |

I personally like wider tanks because I can use T5 bulbs and there's more area for corals.
