baby acan placement

Hello~ I have a baby lord acan starter coming this morning that I purchased from the Sea.org. I'm not sure the size but, I'm figuring quite small. I have blastos already. Is a good placement for the baby acan right on the sandbed? I'm worried that its going to get buried in the sandbed by the fish (goby) So, in regard to very small starters what does everyone else do to ensure it doesnt get lost or damaged. Thanks SherryS

I would glue it to a larger rock.

You can do jendub's breeder trick

Go to petco/petsmart, one will have a lee's $5 floating acrylic breeder box. You can mount your frag onto a flat halfdollar sized rock with superglue gel or putty, then pop it in the breeder box.

The box will float around so you can ziptie it to the over the edge mounts from a maxijet to keep it anchored in one place. This will keep it away from any nibbling fish and protect you in case the polyp makes a run (which they have been known to do)
