Exclamation Cynarina Help

Hey all. So, today I purchased a new cynarina. Unfortunately, it has a small base. To prop it up further from the sand, I glued it to a frag plug. While I was doing this, the coral fell over, and the skeleton punctured through one of the "bubbles" on the coral. The coral is still fairly open, and the other "bubbles" mostly inflated. Given the right conditions, should this coral be okay?

yeah, it should recover nicely as long as nothing stresses it, especially if you feed it a bit more than usual

I agree, it should be fine. Be sure to feed it to help it heal up.

I had this happen to mine. It recovered. However it would not eat during the period it was healing. Could just have been mine though. Good luck.

Well, it has already recovered. The mouth was gaping for a while afterwards, but it had feeder tentacles out all night.

The cynarina this morning right after lights on:

A little bit more inflated later:

You can pretty much see the area that was damaged. I didn't have time to mess with the camera settings this morning, so I apologize for the poor photos. The cynarina is more red/pink, and if you look close in real life, you can see little green spots all over it.

I had basically the same thing happen to my Cyanaria about a year ago - three of the bubbles popped(by some meddling peppermint shrimp- who have since been triggerfish food) - I thought it was a gonner, but they all grew back.
