in the past, we have traveled 600 miles to mom's in minnesota but that isn't happening any time soon.

in my mind, we are traveling to a far off caribbean island to lay on the beach and let the waves tickle our feet.

EDIT: Oh "in your mind". I had just finished a bunch of typing telling you that you are NOT funny and to post something like that is just being disrespectful of other's feelings. And I have a mind to . . . . . but then I re-read your post and "sigh", guess I'll be going with you.

Let's have a couple of Coronas, swap stories, let the ladies shop and soak in the warmth.

SECOND EDIT: Some of the ladies will be shopping, others will be frolicking in the water in what appers to be some very skimpy swim wear. Dang I'll bet that string hurts.

AND I will be heading North into the cold about 300 miles and I am so looking forward to seeing all my family. really. I miss them like crazy and as much as I hate Christmas for the commercialism and the media's trying to force the perfect holiday season down our throats, I do love seeing the folks. It's also nice to share memories of the ones that have pasted with others that understand. Yeah after the gifts are bought an wrapped it is sweet to enjoy some time with people you love.

Merry Christmas!

I've never travelled "furtherest" in my life
I'm not sure that is even a word

We are staying home for my son's 1st Christmas, not that he will know much. He's happy we unwrap his diaper, won't really knwo presents
Next year will be a different story - he'll be a paper wrap destroying madman I think

Our family is all local, within an hours drive. Just far enough away.....

I'll be travelling to the hometown of such notable people as:

Jerry Seinfeld
Alec Baldwin and his coat tail riding brothers
Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister fame
Brian Setzer and the Stray Cats
Joey and Mary Jo Buttafuoco
Brian Baldinger (Dallas Cowboys end and Monday Night Football commentator)
Jessica Hahn (Rev. Jim Baker's infamous lover)
Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy and Cocoon)

That's right, Massapequa, NY! Only about 60 miles from where I live.

Then I'm going to join Nina on the beach and making one stop to pick up Carrie on the way.

Oh, don't get Debi started on poles!

YEAH!!! I'm going to the beach!

Actually, I'm driving an hour and half one way to pick up my son, turning around to come back home, to end up in my living room.
