Going with the dyson animal? I've heard mixed reviews. I hear it's awesome for carpets, but you can't use it on rugs. Something about it lifting the rug up and ocluding the intake. That causes the blockage whistle to sound and it quits sucking.

That being said, i wouldn't mind having a dyson for christmas.

Yah, not the greatest pic in the world. Shooting with an old 2 megapizel powershot A40 on an overcast day at full 7.5 digital zoom. You should see the ones i deleted, heh.
