Some pics

Well, I upgraded my camera so thought I'd take some shots of some of my livestock to share with you all. Everything is in my frag tanks since I'm still waging the pest anemone war in the display. What was that stuff you told me about at the swap Richard?

Everyone is growing under 10K XM metal halides to maximize growth. I have 20K XMs on the display, and am working on my first attempt at a DIY luminarc reflector. More to come on that later if I succeed. LOL

glad to hear you are getting your display tank problems figured out. If your stuff looks that good in your frag tank you should have your display tank up and running in no time.

Thanks all =)

I did notice we were frequenting the same tables at the swap Steve. Between you, Gary, and myself we account for most of the delicate frags that Jay brought to the swap. LOL

That reminds me...anyone know if any of the stores in the Memphis/Nashville area carry ORA frags?

Pest anemone=atpasia???? I have had good results from injecting them with lemon juice concentrate.

What is this and where do I get one?

Sperry,

That is a neon green stylophora that came from a colony I bought from Craig (reef down under) a few years back. He originally got it from Rendos long before WTMRAC existed. I didn't find out the original owner til after the club had been together a few months. Small world. LOL

I think ORA has this coral now, so should be pretty easy to get. When grows out I'll be happy to give you a frag, but at the rate it has been going it will take a bit. I think several club members got a piece of it from Codeman when he took his system down. His was a frag of my original so it is the same.

That was me Gary =) Those light blue and light green zoos at the top came from Brian and the blues have almost all the polyps open now.

Brian at Pure Captive? Something about them made me think of these others I have that originally came from you, not sure why... You confirmed my suspicion that they were Caribbean zoas when you told me where they came from. The blues are nice.

Just saw the rest of your post sperry....

yep they are aiptasia, and they brought their friends the majanos. Part of me wants to scrap the rock in there and start fresh, but I would have to find some with the look of the Tonga/Fiji/etc. with the sheer volume of life that you get with Florida rock. Of course I'm also curious about the reef ceramics people are using.

In the end I'll probably stick with what I have...maybe. LOL
