Algae Loving Snails, With Pics

These snails love algae... I have used a few dozen to clean up some algae off rocks and glass, they eat down to the bare rock...

I bought a used tank that had a bad algae problems and these snails have been clean up timesavers! See the pics!

They are perfect for quick clean ups... They are strict herbivores.
Also they are as hardy as they come. Temperature acclimation is all that is needed. They really love algae formed by older bulbs loosing spectrum!

However, they may have trouble long term in the aquarium as they tend to climb past the water the line and have to be pushed back into the water. Also sometimes they need help righting themselves if they fall on their backs.

But for algae control, if you are having problems and want a natural solution, i have never seen snails eat more.

50 cents each with $5 shipping priority mail and some extras. I will replace any DOA's, however i doubt there will be any... check or
Paypal through drewmazzeo@yahoo.com

All pictures are only over the course of one day!

Sorry-- been working all week and had not got a chance to respond...Has been raining lately and day job is behind-- with sun comes too much work...

Will respond to each of you tonight... I have enough for everyone...

Check out these pics too---

I have not touched this tank! This i what they have done!!!

With enough food they do not wonder from it...
Honestly, if your algae problem resembles mine--- It will be gone. I will give you your money back if you do not love these critters-- they have saved this tank!
I was about to special order sea hairs and trying different crabs-- but these things are by a 1000 fold the best!

Dan, Tom, Fonda, Blair... All recieved paypal payment, thank you...

Fonda: Will ship for friday delivery
Dan, Tom, Blair: Will ship tuesday for thursday or friday delivery (2-3 day priority mail)

If you have sent a check i will let you know when i recieve it...

OTHERS, PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECTLY AT drewmazzeo@yahoo.com as the cross between screen names real names, order quanity, and delivery instructions is a real pain... When sending paypal or check, please leave/give
1) screen name
2) quanity
3) any delivery instructions

Thanks guys... Still have a few more if any interested...
The only algae i do not think they have eaten is bubble algae... I had all kinds in this tank... All algae is nearly gone I am not real clear on identifying algae but if by hair algae you mean fuzzy, hairy, brown, gross stuff-- yeah they eat that... I gurantee they eat what is in the pictures...

No, they are tank raised... I bought a lot to clean this tank (among other critters... These work the best though), however they will probably starve if i do not get rid of them... And i am happy if i can keep them from starving and i can make some of my money back... They are great little guys.

Only a few left. More pics from a refugium... Over the course of an afternoon!
