Dgasmd,
Thanks for the great ideas. The tank and stand will actually be going through the room window. I have some ideas of my circulation posted at the begining of this thread. I wont be doing any drilled closed loops but will be doing somreturns from the sides of the 3 overflows (same concept and thinner to drill holes) I've been playing with some designs for this concept. I'll post them as soon as i'm done.
Thx again for the advice and information!

PS. the tank is 1-1/4"

Twize,
That's a gorgeous tank and stand you have there. A very exciting project indeed. So that's 1 and 1/4" thick? Wow! You do realize that the overall volume of acrylic alone is greater than most peoples reef tanks water volume. Very cool. I look forward to seeing the progress.

I'm not sure if this was covered already or not, but what are the actual dimensions of this again?

Also, Who built it?

Did they stick to their original delivery date?

It definitely looks very impressive. Good luck! Congratulations!

Hey Weatherson,
Always great to hear from you. Thanks for the complements. Boy is my back feeling it this morning , That glass is pretty thick and heavy . Andy from TFS originally told me the glass was 1", but I started staring at it and said no way, so when I measured, lo and behold All sides measured 1-1/4" ...I'm definitely not complaining. The tank was superbly constructed and is a piece of art indeed.....Just look at me, ranting and giddy like a Father to his new born baby. I'm pretty excited now. Thank you especially for all your awesome and inspiring pics and info regarding your own new baby
Talk to you soon and keep you posted.

Thanks everyone for your comments and ideas...I'm not finished by a long shot, so keep-er-commin on these great ideas on my next phases.

The Aquarist,
No Problem, The Dimensions are 10'L x 3'W x 4'H. It was constructed from Tenecor in Arizona. They did stick to their original date but I was told mid way through that they were going to be able to deliver a few day earlier. towards the end stretch there were some delays which bumped it back to the origanal delivery date again. Nothing major, I would definitely recommend a tank from Tenecor again, btw, I ordered the Tenecor tank through Andy at tropicalfishstore.com
Thanks again for your kind words.

Very Nice. Tenecor seems to have a great reputation. It looks like they did an excellent job. I've been considering a Tenecor for my next one. I'm looking forward to seeing your tank develop. I think we all are!

Anybody notice how the cost of the tank is being avoided.

I'll bet the little lady might not know the whole story..

How big is your RO system, and what kind?

It looks great, but I don't see any holes for return plumbing. How are you going about that?

Nothing to even think about.

If I thought about all the dough I spent on this hobby I would go to the loony bin

Maybe he got a deal he can't talk about ..... who knows? If the price was for public knowledge, it would have been posted somewhere on these 7 pages. Personally, I don't care. The only things that are bugging me are that it's still full of air and I don't have one!

He's probably avoiding the cost as that is his business ,not our business. People ask me the same thing and it really doesn't matter how much it costs. It only matters if we are happy with our setups.

Twize, that is simply amazing. I wish you the best of luck and keep us updated. Have you thought about doing a website about your tank and experiences?
