Unhappy burrowing slug in my sinularia (finger leather)

Has anyone ever encountered this?> I noticed them almost a month after I got it. I thought its shrinking was due to stress due to some coloring issues(possibly dyed w/color) and was expecting just a bleaching process and anticipated for it to brown up but it hasnt its tiny little polyps(SPS sized ) do open now, though.

But after noticing a sluggish black thing ( the only thing similar but not identical i could find is a soft shelled cowry) after sucking it up with my litlle syrenge i still could not tell what it is for it got stretch and distorted but could see the yellow color from my sinulari in its digestive tract and am certain it wasnt alone. Today I notice a big burrowed hole with dead tissue all in black color and have seen intermittent black spots, none of which are moving. I fear the fate of this coral is that of wood to a termite. WHAT TO DO?Anyone have a similar experience? Ill see if i can post a decent pic(doubtfull) tomorow..Til then input plz!

If possible, I'd move your leather to another tank so whatever is burrowing in your coral doesn't move on to another host. I've never dealt with your situation (fortunately), so I can't offer any other advice. Also, if you put it in another tank, it might be easy to access to pull out any other slugs you happen to notice. Good luck.

Unfortunately I just have a extra tank for any fish quarentine(currently a 10g FO w/damsels) but it isnt lit well enough for coral . Upon arrival and prior to acclimation, I did a iodine dip on him w/ Lugols but these guys avoided it because I think they were deep in its tissue, Just really weird and kinda sad cuz this guy is trying I can see it, its just got a few odds staxed against him, ,, keep ideas and or ID comin in ty,
