Red face Post your insane anemone pics here!

Every time I go to the pet store, all the anemones that i've come across look white, cream or tan-- obviously bleached. How is a beginner supposed to know what a healthy one looks like? Anyone, whether they are a reefer or not can appreciate the beauty of an anemone. So here's your chance to show off guys! Post your anemone pics here and label what species it is so that we can see what a proper specimen is supposed to look like! Thanks everybody.

Here here!
I got my first RBTA yesterday for my birthday and it was dead this morning!
In retrospec I don't think it was very healthy at the store... I'd like to see what a good one looks like for next time.

An old pic, but pretty healthy. I'll get new pics when I get home...hopefully.

The base should be a little darker than this one, to tell you the truth. He is much healthier now than before.

That was my old RBTA. I fed her several silver sides per week and was under 150W 10,000K MH and t5 actins. Some say she was bleached or starved, but that can't be since i fed her too much and she was in good lighting

I had her for a year at that point. She split several times. Unfortunately there was a bad sand storm and all my corals got sick and a lot died and she got deathly ill. She is now the size of a ping pong ball and bleach white. She has been alive like this for two months though. Color hasn't returned and her tentacles are almost inexistent. She sur eis fighting for her life, I have no clue how she's still alive

its amazing how long they can live being so unheallthy. i would guess that the reason it split is because it was dying

ATX you anemone should look like cschweitzer's

im not sure why it was so unhealthy. I fed it regularly and it was always in the light. Perameters were always fine. It was a well established tank. Any clues?

thing is when i bought it, it was more like a rusted brown. It was always in the light. It's the strangest anemone. It suffers over nothing and won't die
