Another red bug question
Planing to dose tank this saturday was wondering is a immediate water change necessary after 6hrs according to Dustins doseage recomendation. I'm going to use 1/3 of the interceptor pill for a 75g tank is that enough?

that sounds like a bit too much pill for that size tank....i believ one pill is good for 380 gallons...one third would be about 127gallons...so that would be almost double the dose....i believe the correct dose is 5mg/20 gallons of water...
remember you have to take in account all of your water volume...skimmers, reactors (empty of media, i think your supposed to replace the media afterwards, not reuse the old) sumps, fuges, RDSB etc... people have had luck not doing any water changes after the dose, as well as only doing 10% or 15%...some people also have not run carbon either...
