Some Urchants are just bad. I have a pink pincushion urchant that ate the base off of my red xenia. It had never touched my pink xenia. Watch it, if it eats anything I would get rid of it.

If there isnt enough algae in the tank for him, then yeah, your Urchin might start eating some corals. Try anchoring Nori strips down on the rockwork and see if he goes after that instead. Ive kept mid-sized long spine urchins (about 16" tip to tip) with Anthelia, Xenia, Zoanthids, Sinularia, and some Stonies without any incident, but there was a lot of plantage in there for him.

ok well it literally ate a whole pulsing xenia with about 20 heads 3 inches long it almost good because it grows like a weed but i just thought it was wierd
