Anyone still watching Surface on Nbc

I'm trying to get into it, but the writing keeps getting worse!! If you've been watching the show, you remember the aquarium that got destroyed in the 2nd episode. On last nights show, she goes to Piggly Wiggly to return the approx 125 gallon salt water tank, that has burst into thousands of pieces. That's right, PIGGLY WIGGLY(it's a grocery store, for those of you who have'nt been to one)The manager says they don't carry aquariums and she replies," You had a special on them last week when I got it, it came with rocks, plants and the filtration" Sorry, I just had to vent!! I've been spending too much time in front of the TV when I get home, I really need to do something more productive with the little spare time that I have.........

Yep, thought the same about the Piggly...Also I think if they would have kept it more on the grown up side and got away from the quitzy baby one and the boy...It like in one scene it is eating people and another one it is ET....

I watched it last night and think that's it for me! So lets see, they call animal control and he is right over in 10 min. Like that will happen. The whole Piggly thing and the aquarium. When they tracked the creature why wasn't the big bad govt right there? AND where was the little kid when they were filming the creature?? Oh ya, and the poor little evil creature comes home and jumps in bed.

This show had potential but after last night I don't think I can bring myself to watch another episode.

I forgot about that other stuff. I was wondering how her little kid mysteriously disappeared. The nail gun was hysterical, lets see, the creature makes weird things happen to electrical devices, but the nail gun was air powered!!!

They dropped the kid off at dads. That tank, before it crashed, sure looked good for only being up less than a week.....fish and all. Wonder when my grocery store is going to put in a marine fish section? Show is getting a bit rediculous. Now a creature that can eat a 60 ft boat must have a big appetite. What were they eating when they were trapped in the lava? If they can dig a tunnel that can drain a lake, why haven't they tunnelled out before? If they live in a lava environment, wouldn't the sea temps be much to low for them? If the hole in the lake went all the way to the magma core, why wasn't there any steam as it drained? Why didn't the magma come out of the hole?

Soooooo many plot holes.

Surface......Yea still watching it ...like a bad train wreck...

Let's see .... Close Encounters ,meets ET, meets Jaws, meets Encino Man...Does that about cover it??? Oh yea and every Cory Hart/Corey Feldman movie out there
.
I do believe they even stole dialogue from Close Encounters. You would think the writers would be more aware of all the plot holes too. I don't expect it to last 'till Christmas . After "LOST" today's SciFi viewer is much more sophisticated

hahaha yes I totally saw that when the kid mysteriosuly diappeared, I guess he could have been in the car? But I doubt it. I didnt realize the nail gun was powered by air, but good catch.
