Sorry for making everyone feel old.

I'm not that young, I lived through: He-man, Voltron, Transformers, the Reagan administration, Operation Desert Storm, and the Flood of 93'.

Thanks for the birthday wishes !

OK, I used to cut high school and watch He-Man...so you could have only been 6 months to 1 year old back then

But...

You don't know a life without computers or remote controls on the tv. You weren't alive during the Iranian Hostage Crisis or Jimmy Carter's administration. You've probably never lived without a microwave oven. You've probably never owned a record player or 8-track. The Space Shuttle Challenger exploded when you were three. You were 7 during Operation Desert Storm. You're just a pup, and I'm an old man...

I did not have a microwave until the mid 90's.
I am not a fan of them. I maaaaaybe use it once a month.

We had B&W TV sets, on where I watched Carol Burnett and Perry Mason. I also liked Benson and MASH. (Maybe that is from being poor, not being born before most people could have color TVs.) My first color tv was a console Zenith, I thought it was the biggest tv in the world.

Our VCR still has a remote control that is hard wired into the VCR.

I had a record player that I played the "Gremlins" movie on, which you could read along with the book.

For the Gulf war I was older than 7, I belive I was in second grade, because we wrote letters to the soldiers.

I was young when He-man aired but I still remember it.
I watched saturday morning cartoons and ate . Also when Trix tasted good and were spheres.
