getting scratches out of acrylic?

anyone know of any good polish/scratch remover for acrylic? I am using Novus scratch remover and is doing a good job but need something maybe a little tougher. Hopefully somebody can help, thanks.

are you using 1, 2 and 3? Novus is the best you can get

I sure am, guess I'll just do some more sanding and buffing.

There are diferent grades of ruberized sand cloth, if the scratches are deep you can use 400 or 600 grit and move into 1000, 3000, 6000 and 8000 or 12000 grit in steps.

Check out Rainbow LifeGard Aquarium Scratch Removal Kit
from MarineDepot.com Have used it before and it works great. Basically includes many different types of sandpaper grits that will work under water.

Be careful with the more abrasive items, can be a lot of work to get the heavy scratches out.
