plastic tank rim

is the plastic tank rim removable on a 20 tall AGA Tank
Not sure if it acts as a clamp holding glass in at top

Why do you want to remove it, is it just for a cleaner look?

personally I would keep it, it holds the tank together. if you want to clean it up add a canopy and it will cover it.

It does not hold the tank together. Tak eit off if you want.
