FS: Sfiligoi Stealth 2x250wMH + 8xT5 - Bulbs included

Greetings,

I recently purchased a Sfiligoi Stealth from Aquarium Obsessed as a demo unit. While this fixture is a perfect match for my new aquarium, Elos 120XL, I simply don't have enough room for a large chiller. In addition, I am utilizing T5's on my Elos 70, which I enjoy very much because of the little heat generated and reduced energy costs. Please note, during shipping, one of the UV glass pieces (2 total) broke, but Aquarium Obsessed ordered a new one for me, and is currently on it's way from Italy.

The fixture comes with eight T5's and each have their own individual reflectors. There are two 250 watt MH bulbs as well. There are several (5-6) small fans that help keep the fixture running cool. I will include 8 Sfiligoi actinic T5 bulbs, and 2 250 w Reeflux 10k and 1 250 w Phoenix 14k bulbs. There is also a hanging kit included.

The fixture retails for $2499.99 with all bulbs included plus shipping (over $100), so you are looking at over $2600 to acquire this fixture.

I would like to get $1500 from a local sale for this unit, but I am open to trades and offers.

Here are some photos:

Please email me at hceiv@yahoo.com or reply to this thread, personal messages fill up fast.

If there is not enough interest in a local sale, I may ship, or I may keep the unit and figure out some way to hook up a chiller.

Thanks for looking!

And I thought I had all the equipment I could ever want. Where's that envy icon :? Beautiful tank and awesome light. What are you looking for in trades?

Do you already have a chiller? and the problem is that it doesn't fit in the stand? Just trying to clarify.

Thanks for the compliment!

I can fit a 1/10 hp chiller in the stand, which I have hooked up as back up and my B2 will turn it on when the temp hits 82, but I really don't like placing chillers in stands. The aquarium is sitting in a "tv nook" next to a fireplace and hall way, so I can't easily plumb a chiller outside the stand without it being totally in the way.

Just trying to see what kind of interest people might have in this light for now, and if there is little interest, I will probably keep this light and add a ton of fans to the sump and surrounding areas and go from there...

teco chillers are pretty small... the most powerful ones are just as big as their least powerful ones.

but otherwise, great fixture! If I had such a wide tank I'd totally go for it =)

my TECO is like a whisper when it's on, I can't hear it unless I put my head close to the chiller. This isn't even with the "SILENT" mode on.

It also has built in heaters and UV as options =)

49" long x 19.75" wide x 2.75" tall

Elos is 47.2" long and 31.5" wide. Absolutely perfect light for the aquarium... (Sang...)

Nuuze, nice!

Definately need a more streamline "stealthy" light! lol.

Sfiligoi ballast for MH and T5. 3 Chords, 1 chord for 4 T5's, 1 chord for outer 4 T5's and 1 chord for both MHs.

Pics of ballasts wil be available when photobucket stops their site maintance or tomorrow.

I drive a 99 chevy 2door tahoe that's got all the upgrades =) Need a sports car with good gas mileage now, sick of these prices!

Negotiating with someone local on the unit, so this may move before the end of the weekend.

Thanks!
