Hang-on Skimmer
I have been looking for a skimmer for a while and decided maybe I want a hang-on skimmer because of the room in the sump is slim. Anyway here is one that seems to be a good result. Has anyone heard anything about this or if anyone has it fill in and let us know how it works!

Save your money. There's better hang ons out there. How much are you willing to spend?
Octopus 100 - $109 Octopus 100F - $150 Octo Recirc 300F - $225 Bermuda Rogue - $250 (plus cost of pump) Deltec MCE300 - $290 Deltec MCE600 - $500 For your size tank, I'm sure the Octo 100/100F would be sufficient, there's a thread here of owners (I have the 100F) and results if you want to look through it. If you have the money to drop on the Rogue, that one out performs all on the list if you have the right pump, but the right pump will look ginormous in your tank (if we're talking about the 29g). HTH

I would do my best to find a In sump skimmer with a small enough footprint to fit. I hate HOB skimmers

A 29GAL, although I am thinkin about not running a skimmer at all. i have had my tank so prestine without one for 6 months now and I have just been so amazed and so have other people. I think my routine water changes(5 gal/wk) and watching everything very closely has made it turn out great. Too much skimming equals to much goods stuff gone.

WIth 5g a week you won't really need a skimmer but i'd suggest the octo is you get one. And your to much skiming comment isn't true imo. Your going to pull out alot of bad and very little good.

I agree with luke, if you really want a skimmer get a octopus hob they are great for the price and work really well right out of the box. Go for the bh100f if you want a clean look and a surface skimmer, and its more effective than the regular one.

With that size i would also just be diligent with water changes and not run a skimmer at all
