Nice tank Bergzy!

Do you get any coral nibblings from the c. multicolor? It is notorious in my tank.

GregM779, how do you find the Niger Trigger is around your inverts?? It just seems odd to see atrigger in a reef tank.

I love centropyge angels, but in order to keep them, I had to turn one of my mixed reefs into a softy tank.

Do not let your angel see you feeding your scolys, they will adapt and learn the many food sources that are available to them!

I love my niger trigger, he really doesn't bother anything. I have more problems with my dragon wrasse around inverts, I just have to put in some more snails every few months but no big deal, he doesn't bother my starfish. It's not weird at all to see triggers in reefs, just to see them in reef aquariums is a little different, then again I also have a flounder.

Niger triggers are often considered a "reef-safe" species because they are planktivores, finding their food in the water column (for the most part). However, considering the tendency of other family members, I wouldn't rule out small small crustaceans and shrimp as a meal option.

Here's an article on Triggerfish:

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-08/dc/index.htm

There has also been one Tank of the Month that had a Niger. I believe it was Joe Burger's.

Some really great looking tanks here. PaulB, I'm always impressed by your tank. It's awsome.
Mine is a bit pale in comparssion to most of yours but here is my 6 year old little 45G hex that is LPS/Softie dominated. No SPS in this one. There are some more pics in my gallery if you want to see more.
Full Tank.

Pearl bubble & frog spawn on right side.

Zoa's.

Blown Chevy, It is not your tank, it is your photography. Let me tell you a secret. See how in your first picture you can see the powerhead and the back of the tank? A lot of people take pictures like that but you can make your tank look like Tahiti if you raise your lights and place a piece of cardboard or plywood just under the lights so as to shield the back of the tank just for the picture and don't use a flash. The back of the tank will be black and your corals will look very nice as I can see they are.
Take care.

When the back of the tank is shielded from the light, the pictures look much better.

What do you mean. He does not seem to touch anything but he is about 4" high and the tank is only 100 gallons so he can't swim like he would like to. He does not hide or jam hinself into the coral like a tang would do.

Paul, thanks for the tip. I've just got a cheap ol digital 2 M pix camera. I'm still trying to find out how to turn off the flash on it. I usually wind up just covering it with some paper. I'll try your tips though and see if it comes out any better.

Thumbs up Awesome.....

Those are probably some of the best LPS / tanks I've seen in these thread.

The one tank that really stuck out - unique ness was, I think, Va_reefman.. Great tank.

Also, Flipturn - awesome tank miss.

Of course we can't leave out the rest of your tanks.

Ben, my moorish Idol does not pick at any corals but he does pick at some algae between the corals. I have also spent a bit of time with them in the sea and I didn't really seethem pick at corals either.

Thanks for the kind words! Water filtered by LR and a MJ 1200's. I changed about
10% water about every 2 months and topoff with vending machine water.
