Instant Ocean Alk
Hi,
I normally keep my alk at 9.0. When I mix up my Instant Ocean it is at 11.8dkh. I was wondering how would I reduce the alk? Should I just change the water and deal with it? Thanks. |

That is not so high to be worried, IMO, and in a day or two in a reef aquarium it will be down. You might just need to add a bit more calcium chloride in the tank to keep calcium up.
