I'm here..hehe
For a small growout tank for softies and zoos I would go to petco or petsmart (I forget which one) and get a 20 gallon long aquarium for $25, they are 3 foot by 1 foot so you'll have some room, if you want to go bigger I'd look on www.recycler.com for a low wide tank, but I bet the 20 long would work just fine. You should look for t5's in 2 or 3 foot, they are the best for a prop tank because the 65k bulbs are cheap and they work like a charm for softies. You could prolly find those on RC's selling forum for a pretty reasonable price. A single 96 watt pc bulb would work as well but t5's work much better for growing stuff fast. From there you gotta decide if you want it as a whole seperate tank or plumbed into your main tank. If you have a sump you can connect the two tanks, or if you don't you can get an overflow box and a pump and use the prop like a sump only full of coral... |

Then you'll need another heater, a powerhead for movement and you can avoid a skimmer, just do 10 gallon changes when it gets dirty

I used a 10 gallon at one point for zoo's and it was overgrown withing 5 months go with the 20 long tank (30X12X12H), aqua clear 300 or 500,use a dual 65 watt power compact fixture or retro and do water changes every week about 5 gallons
