Clown Story, Crazy !!!!!
One day I look into my tank and only see 2 of my 3 firefish, no carcass or anything. Two days later I had 1 firefish left with no sign of the other. Two days later I am sitting there watching the tank when all of a sudden my false percula rushes out of his anemone, grabs the firefish by the tail, and drags it backwards into the anenome. I have always witnessed clowns feeding their anemones, but never with other fish the same size as the clown himself. Anyone out there have any other crazy clown stories ?

I also need to add that the third firefish did not get eaten, just rolled around on the sand convulsing til dead. Spoiled anemone too full I guess !!!!!!!

That is crazy! You have one aggressive and protective clown! Glad my clown doesn't do that to any of my other fish! What are you going to do now about it?

my uncle's clown always tries to do that with any fish that comes by even if the fish is 4 times his size, he's only succeded once though

My false perc tries to feed my Rhodactis 'shrooms flake food! But where she excells in crazy is her insane dislike of any stony corals near them. She consitently knocked a new Platygra colony onto the sandbed upside down until I finally placed it at the foot of the LR. This coral was 4-5 times her length & weight.

I might have to go and sell my clowns now!
Still, how does a clown drag in a firefish. The firefish should be able to out swim a clown any day.

I've had a pair of almost evry type of clowns, all with anemones, and I have never seen that.
I'll pitch in on a firefish for a video clip! |

Nice to see ya around gus, how have you been? Thats something new I never heard about clowns.My bro has this perc that attacks his hand when ever he sticks his hand in the tank. Also that percs in a nanocube and always manages to jump to the back of the chamber. |
