Red Slime Algea?

I have what I think is red slime algae on one of my rocks. It is bright red, looks fuzzy, and seems like it has bubbles trapped under it. From what I've read I think it sounds like red slime.

I'm wondering how bad this is and if I need to take steps to get rid or it?

That is Cyano.

It thrives in tank that have low water flow, low oxygen content, and high nutrients.

In order to get rid of it, you need to increase water flow, do regular water changes and make sure your skimmer is working properly.

My skimmer is actually not working. I moved it under my stand and now it overflows, so I turned it off. I'll make fixing it a priority if it'll help get rid of this stuff.
