GE silicone 1, door and window....white?

i accidentally grabbed the white silicone, instead of clear when i went to home depot today.

will it be fine to use for baffles in my sump? i dont want to go back to home depot... i hate that place.

they use black silicone in tanks right? so why wouldnt white work?

it doesnt have any of that anti mildew stuff...
