OT: What is your other hobbies?

Obviously we all enjoy the aquatic attraction, but I was curious what else everyone likes to do.. Surely you can't play with your tank 24x7.. can you? LOL Well maybe some of you can!!!

We spend a lot of time on the water boating.. River, Lake, Intercoastal, Keys.. you name it... We can almost always be found on the water somewhere.

So what about you?

Jack

I also have a 2003 CR250 dirt bike...waiting on jets for the carb so can't ride it til next week...lol

Darts and drinking, my only other hobbies. And to those of you who say drinking isn't a hobby, you just haven't done it right

Harassing orca members ( esp mike ) , paintball , Lincoln logs , and seeing how much boost i can put through my cars engine before it blows up and im stuck riding lynx buses.

Reef keeping really isnt a hobby anymore for me, alough I do buy stuff for it , after charlie and the 3 doodie hurricanes a few years ago and losing my system i really dont see the point in putting 5k in corals into something and feeding them when from what ive seen most people part out for a diff tank around year 4 and by the time of year 7 ( which is actually pretty rare ) the tank would wipe long before then anyway .

maybe when i make more money it might be again but considering fpl/progress energy has a tough time keeping power up during light afternoon showers I think ill just watch my fish swim and live rock grow purple red and orange goodness

hehe....where do I start with that.....

couple of classic mustangs, fencing (no not putting up fences), black powder shooting, movie/films (posters, presskits, props, etc), WWII items/military aviation, western/old west stuff, computer games......the list goes on and on. The list of things I used to do is a complete different post!

Enjoying my kids, diving (when I get a chance which is almost rare now adays).

I also enjoy building things with wood. I get enjoyment out of seeing something get created. Just alot of work.

Recently, a new hobby is flipping houses. We bought a house around 950 sq ft and dumping in 10 grand and doing all the work ourselves. I hope to have it done in a total of two months and back on the market Oct 1st. It does suck having 2 house payments.

You mean I should have a life outside work? What a concept!!
I may once again get back to my favorites: parasailing, scuba, snorkeling, boating (our poor boat doesn't know what water is anymore), camping and reading. I read 2-3 novels a week. Of course, my hubby and dog Bailey are my favorite past times and then there's enjoying my time with the "city dwellers." Lots to learn and great laughs.

Yeah, poor boat...everytime I think I've got a day off to go out...boom! Something else comes up. But, fall is my favorite time out on the intercoastal anyway, so hopefully next month we can work something out!!!

Wow, very nice water ride there Jack!!! I'll have to snap a pic next time we get the boat out. It's a 19' Triumph made of Ropylene...environmentally friendly (100% recyclable, which I love since it needs no scraping, painting, etc. A quick hosing off and it's all done. Center console, all the amenities and you'd never know it isn't fiberglass until you're right on top of it. It's also much lighter than a standard boat which makes it much easier to handle as I'm the loader and unloader. We do a lot of fishing on the Indian River and the intercoastal. Here's a pic of a recent drum Tom picked up:

Captain Bailey...always with us on the boat...he loves it!!
