250watt ballast group buy anyone?

I am checking interest on a 250watt metal halide ballast group buy. The ballasts I would like to purchase are the blueline e-ballasts from Champion Supply. They are electronic and are excellent ballasts. They come with a quick disconnect ballast-to-bulb wire that is 12'. Price is dependant upon interest but will be cheaper than here plus shipping. Once I get an idea for how many will be purchased I can pm everyone a price. I want to make the purchase in about a month, or even after the holidays so that I can take care of buying gifts first, I'm just tossing the idea out now. Maybe it could be a nice x mas gift idea for that significant other to buy you

Just curious as to why you prefer the Blueline ballast as opposed to the Icecap?

Here's an article comparing them.

Thanks for the article Mark. I'll be upgrading to 250's soon (i think). Hadn't decided which brand to go with yet.

I would have to sell a couple 400w ballasts but would be interested if I did that.

I've got about 30 Blueline ballasts running for me right now. Many have been in operation for more than 5 years without a single problem.

The only complaint I have is that they did not work well with X-10 technology. But with the use of DC8's now, It is not a big problem.

I've never personally used an IceCap MH ballast, but I've talked to some people who have and had some issues.

I am a fan of the bluelines, and am using them now. I have an icecap ballast for my VHO's but its a pain in the *** wiring them and they don't come with a power cord. Small potatoes but it all adds up.
