How to dip a coco worm?
I just picked up a bunch of sps at the LFS and a nice coco worm. I have already been through the red mite treatment once and I now treat all incoming corals and rocks with the interceptor for 6 hours before they get put into the tank. But how should I treat a coco worm? lugols? Please advise.

I know that but I do want to treat it with something before I put it into my SPS tank. After having those darn bugs once I do not want to get them again. I know the bugs do not live on a coco worm but if a few were on the shell as they floated through the water column.... I just like treating everything before it goes into my system. Do you think lugols for 10 minutes would be ok?

I wouldn't treat it. If you want, quarantine it for a couple weeks and see what happens.

QT is about the only option I've ever heard of. As it is it'll very likely get stressed and throw his crown (or jump out of his cask).. With tube worms I generally just bite the bullet and take a chance (or don't buy them at all). They're so picky about shipping that it's best not to hesitate too long before they're in a stable environment.
