looks like a female solar wrasse? The body is a little green...but could be a color variant. They do have red heads like that w/ the red coming back past the "arm" fins (don't know what they're called).

Actually, I have a ruby head C. cyanopleura (the one linked to above). The red on the head only goes back to the "arm" fin, not past it. If the red is *only* on the head, then it would be the cyanopleura. But since the red goes past the head, it is more likely a solarensis.

I know this because of a thread a year or two ago w/ Bronco7777 distinguishing the differences for me and another user who had a female solarensis (and I had the rubyhead) and we wanted to know if they were the same fish or not.

Here's mine:

Well, that's *my* guess....it sure looks like the other one I remember seeing, I'll try and find that thread. Except Jean's is more green and less blue.

Found it: http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...readid=1115696

There's also: http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...ale+solarensis

Thanks re: my fish! He's a real cool guy.
