What is the Mars Frag Swap? I have a huge rock of zoas I'd swap for the right coral. Must be at least 300 to 500 zoas on it. It's around 7 to 8 inches across by 6. The colors are bright green petals with rings of purple and green inside...Dragon Eye is what it's called.

Uh.. Frags are generally rock rubble, calcerious coral piecees, plugs or some other thing that you have a generally smaller piece (i.e. frag) of coral growing on but not really large enough for a retail saile.

Zoa frags generally go for 5-20 polyps for a frag but for rare polyps, it can be as few as 1-2.

I would break up that rock if you truely want to frag it and you can easily have several pieces to bring to the swap. Of course, Josh should have first dibs.

Go to the MARS club site here on RC and find their Frag Swap thread. More details can be found here. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...readid=1280816

Oh and it's not a white elephant swap or whatever anyone calls it. Not a direct swap. You arrive at the frag swap- donate your corals, they go to the appropriate table: Soft, LPS, SPS, etc. you are assigned a number and then on your turn you go in and get one pick. If corals remain, when it's your turn - you get another pick. and so on.
