New to fragging!

Hi, guys,

Can all LPS corals be fragged?? I have fragged my softies and SPS but get nervous when it come to the LPS!

Me and my mate got into the hobby about the same time and want to swap some LPS mainly to get colour variety of the same species! But neither of us have the nerve to chop through an unbranched hammer.

But then thinking back, my first time taking a blade to a leather was pretty scary!

So what is the best way to frag a non-branching Euphillia? I have read about my Galaxea but not tried yet.

All my corals are of a good size and healthy

Thanks for the help
Mark

I've used a pair of PVC cutters to chop though a Euphyllia skeleton. I gave the halves an Iodine dip before putting them back into the tank.
