Frogspawn question...

I have a great frogspawn. It was really big and full when I first got it but after a few months, it shriveled up and barely opens. Now at first, I blamed aquarium and light changes, but now that I think back, the frog has been doing bad since I introduced a skunk clown. This clown has taken the frog as a host and I think it might be irritating the frog. Is this possible? If so, I will remove it and put it in a different tank or sell it.

Its definitely possible. I have a pair of true percs hosting in my wellsphyllia, and it doesn't open near as much since they have been bobbing in and out.

yeah im sure it was the clown, my frogspawn doesnt do well with anything touching it. every once in a while a hermit crab will go digging around under it, and then it will do its shrivel thing. or when im cleaning or adding something new and i brush my hand slightly against it, it will shrivel. i dont think it likes being touched at all, by anything but slight current.

Well the frog started to open but closed again, I wonder what is wrong. My new torch is doing great, my hydno is great, my candy cane is great and my galaxea are great. Hmmm, I wonder if it is just stressed because the clown was around for so long.

Update:

The frog is doing much better, I would say a 50% turn around. The extention is good, not like it once was but is definitely increasing by the day. I really think the clown was the problem and I am glad to fatal damage was done.

Thanx for all of your help.
