Shark Tale- What a stinker
I just watched Sharks Tale for the first time tonight. I think you can only carry the puns on the movies The Godfather, Jaws, and Carwash so far. Even the ghetto humor got tiresome. What a waste of computer animation.

The story, characters, and animation were weak. This is no Nemo.
BUT - there were a lot of good one-liners, so I gave it three stars for that. Not one I'd buy on DVD, that's for sure. I also didn't like how "sexy" they made the Lola fish. Some of the stuff was not suitable for little kids IMO. Crystal

 I love the shrimp. I mean they are one of the funniest toons drawn since Stitch.  They didn't have a major role, but their personality was halarious. And the drunk hermit crab financial advisor was great too. But the main characters weren't that good IMO.

This movie was horrible and stupid. My gf and I hated it. 1 star, only because there isn't an option for 0 star.

I bought the movie for my daughter. She laughed a few times but then again she's only two. Any odd behavior makes her laugh.

I bought it for my children the day it was released as they had been talking about it for moths - they love fishies - esspecially since seeing nemo.
I was incouraged by some of the first scenes and of course by the nice cast of voices. But in the end it gets 1 star - My kids will enjoy watching it and I'm glad I have it in their DVD collection - But If I'm watching a movie with them - I wont be choosing this one. |
