I'm selling a CPR Aquafuge PS (With protein skimmer - it's essentially a HOB refugium with a CPR BakPak built in). Asking $175 obo - used for less than one year. Retails at $250 new. Comes with maxijet 1200 with venturi for pump.

is the skimmer meant to be the primary skimmer or a add-on for the fuge. in otherwords can you use this as your only skimmer?

It was my primary skimmer when I had a 30 cube. The skimmer is attached to the fuge.. The maxijet acts as the main pump and is in your tank pushing the water (and bubbles) for the 'bak pak' portion of it. The water from the skimmer then goes through the fuge section and then back into your tank... The preskimmer portion fits over the maxijet powerhead. Hope this helps

Just sold yesterday sorry... I do have a bakpak unit and a separate aquafuge only though available.
