Show me your skimmate.

Here's a pic of four days worth of skimmate on the Bubble King mini 160.

Beat that!

That skimmer looks awesome! How do you like it? What don't you like about it? I'm thinking of getting one. I've read some great things about them.

The only thing I don't like is, I haven't been able to get any dark skimmate. The build quality is very impressive. The red dragon is dead silent, but you can hear a little air being sucked in. Overall, it's a very good skimmer.

That skim looks pretty nice to me. How long did it take to break in and did you find it difficult to setup?

I can't answer the break in period since it's not mine. I am just borrowing it. The setup is a little touchy. You adjust the water level by rotating the outlet pipe. Very small movements can make big differences in the water level. Once it is set, you can forget it.

Shame the internet does not have smell-o-vision

Almost 3 days. JXMetal's hand me down with mesh mod

The gunk actually has a sweek smell.. well sort of. Kind of like good compost. That is if you clean it every 3 or 4 days. Let it go a week and the anerobics take over
