Anyone in the mood for some ID?

If anyone could help me with some identification on this new growth my rock has sprouted it would be much appreciated. Sorry for the blurry pictures, still trying to dial in this camera.

you will get a better pic if you shut off water flow, put the camera on a tripod and use the timer function.

i had some of that in my tank for a while. i couldnt get a positive ID on it however. its some kind of macroalgae, and appeared harmless and slow growing. then one night my emerald crab decided he liked it.

I like the look of it and would probably not take it out, just was wondering if anyone knew what it was. Thanks for the info though.
