Is this bad news for my GBTA?

I know if I have to ask this I probably shouldn't be keeping one, but I haven't found any info searching the web. My GBTA is really enlarged and its mouth is staying open I noticed today. Doesn't this mean that something is wrong with it? I believe I read somewhere that when their mouth stays open something is wrong. I haven't seen it this large before either. Thanks for any info.

So it's OK for the mouth to stay open wide like that? Do you have experiance with them?

I wouldn't exactly call that "wide open". I have some experience with them. If you see white hanging out you're in trouble.

just curious... what does it mean when there is white hanging out. What could cause that?

It means that they are puking their guts out. Literally.

White stringy stuff (in these, scolymia, or mushrooms...) is what they use to digest things.
