How long does it take for a juvenile angel to mature to an adult....or about how long can I keep a juvenile angel in a 75 gallon tank before I needed to upgrade.

I would guess that it depends on what type of angel. Any specific one you have in mind?

i was under the impression that it is a matter of months (just under a year) vs years. But I could be wrong.

I really like the imperator angel. How many months would it take for those to change from juvenile to adult

Ok thanks, I will probably wait a little while until I am more certain I am going to be able to upgrade (until I am sure my wife will go for it).

It depends on how big it is when you get it.

IMO, a two-inch Emperator can stay in a four-foot 75 gal for up to three years if it only has small and tame tankmates.
