any "Island" tanks (free-standing overflows) ou there?

...still planning my 120-150 gallon reef. I'm going to do an "island" setup, i.e. the tank will be viewable from all sides w/ the overflows and LR centered on the "spine" of the tank. One should be able to walk freely in a circle around the tank as it will be a "soft" room divider. Any similar designs out there in the real world please post ... I could use the help! Also, thinking about a closed loop and returns routed through the tank bottom. Bad idea? Any ideas for keeping all outer glass free would be much appreciated. Horror stories welcome as well!

Gary that is phenominal! Absolutly breathtaking.
But I do have to ask one question.....How tall are you? The reason I ask is I am 5foot 8 and if I tried to get to the bottom of that tank for maint. I would have to wear a mask and snorkel. That thing looks DEEP!

I'm 6' 11" ....when standing on a 12" stool!
PS: Aqua Tongs are a godsend for 30" deep aquariums. It also helps that my hood is height adjustable on those cables.
