1.019 SG ok for macros?
I am soon going to start up a dwarf seahorse tank, and the SG will be about 1.019-1.022, the temperature will be about 72 degrees.
Will the SG and temp be fine for most macro species? Any species in particular to avoid with this SG and temp? |

Only Thalassia testudinum springs to mind as a macro or seagrass that won't enjoy that salinity. Many dwarf SH keepers house macroalgae in their setups with the typical low salinity you've noted. I have done it myself. Sargassum species will grow better in higher salinity, but they do fine in that range. Everything else I can think of that's widely available should be happy.
